Salcedo Village in Makati was formed on December 20, 1973 by the GF & Partners, Architects GF and Partners which is a professional partnership among committed architects.

The village was established to pursue the purpose of Architect Gabriel P. Formoso to form a prestigious residential area in Makati City. On March 20, 1984, Karamfil Import-Export Company Ltd. purchased a portion of land from Ayala.
